How Did you first become interested in Magic? After his friend Mark Young showed eight year old
David a few slight of hand tricks, he was hooked on magic. Performing as Lucky
Lem the Hillbilly Magician, David won the national IBM youth
contest for three consecutive years. Soon he was performing professionally entertaining for amusement parks,
campgrounds, and trade shows. When he was hired for the "82" World’s Fair in
Knoxville his career as a magician really took off. |
Background: David Gray Fee is a life time member of the IBM. He
was born in Oak Ridge TN. on February 5, 1961. |
Misc: Soon David was recreating escapes made famous
by Harry Houdini. Whether he was hanging hundreds of feet below a helicopter
escaping from a straight jacket or buried alive for forty-eight hours,
David's name was often in the headlines. In 1985 he was hired by Carnival
Cruise Lines and
was soon their number one Cruise Director. After twelve years of life on the sea, David returned to the Smoky Mountains
and built The Comedy Barn
Theater featuring clean comedy novelty
acts such as jugglers, ventriloquists, and lots of magic.
